Compact Travel Cameras Review: Sony a7C, ZV-1, Fujifilm X100F & Leica M9-P

When your main camera is something like a Canon R5 with an excellent, but often bulky RF lens, you may not want to lug it around your neck when out on the town for a simple dinner and a stroll. Same goes for when you’re on a relaxing vacation. But that doesn’t mean you should sacrifice image quality by settling for your smartphone camera.

Luckily, that’s where a good compact camera comes in clutch.

Our polycamerous pal, Chelsea Northrup is currently looking for a new-to-her compact to fill the role, so she decided to test a few cameras in an afternoon. She picked a few different options to narrow down her search—the Sony a7C, the Sony ZV-1, the Fujifilm X100F, and the Leica M9-P. While some of these aren’t the newest models, looking at older cameras is a great way to save a considerable sum of money, while still getting the right features that matter to you.

Watch the video below to see what she likes and doesn’t like about all these options.
